The Zebra series of label printers are an excellent pick for medium volumes of label printing. The ZD42042 uses a cartridge system instead of the classic ribbon rolls, which has proven to be far easier during troubleshooting than the standard roll-fed printer systems.
Conversely, the cartridge-based printers are more expensive to operate, leading to higher costs when needing to run large volumes of print jobs, which roll-based systems lend themselves better to.
