The Zebra DS2278 has proven to be a reliable option for fast scanning of large volumes of codes. This scanner needs a reliable and constant power connection and is known to misfire when losing power (in which case a small reset usually restores functionality).
While still an excellent option for scanning, ThisFish has started recommending customers to use Tally’s CamScan feature, using tablets and phones’ onboard cameras instead, reducing the need to purchase additional scanning hardware.
