Our first Tally teaser showcasing MSC Validation tool

Checking whether a fishery, supplier or product has a valid MSC certificate has just gotten a lot easier thanks to a new MSC Data Validation API that has been fully integrated into our Tally software.

Users simply select a fishery, supplier plus species or product, and TallyBot, our AI-enabled digital helper, pings an MSC database to retrieve the status of the certificate. If an MSC certificate is suspended or lapsed, TallyBot will immediately flag its invalid status.

Software developer Rhea Azarraga describes the new feature she built in the first of our new Tally teaser series, short 90 second videos highlighting cool features in our Tally software.

The good news: we’re providing the MSC Data Validation API free with no additional software licence fees. As Rhea explains, it’s part of our commitment to data integrity and sustainability in global fisheries.
