BioSort

BioSort’s product, iFarm, is a system in development that will monitor the health, lice and growth for each fish in a pen. Individual fish can be removed, for example infection carriers or lice collectors. Only fish with needs will be treated, enabling a shift from group-based operations to Individualized care. iFarm – Computer vision for fish size. BioSort creates sensor-based solutions for optimization of fish resources. The solutions shall reduce loss of fish and feed, improve fish health and welfare, optimize harvest and improve sustainability in aquaculture and fisheries. The core competence of BioSort lies within sensor and sorting technologies applied in harsh environments. BioSort employs a multi-disciplinary team with competence within sensor technologies, machine vision, AI, software, mechatronics and product design.
